Goodbye Heidi Hello James....James Bond

Up at the crack of dawn to ride on a suspension cable car to visit the top of Schilthorn Peak 10,000 feet. James Bond had an extremely difficult mission here freeing some damsel in distress and saving the world from Telly Sevalas. The ride is harrowing for someone who is a bit afraid of heights but I may say worth the risk to life and limb. We had coffee in the circulating restaurant. Amazing. Do I keep saying that? Yes I do but I can't help myself, all our adventures are freaking amazing!! We descended to 5,374 feet, Murren, our home base. Lunch on a panoramic terrace overlooking, you guessed it, the mountains. Very cool. Then we hiked down hill to Gemmelwald, an even more remote community. It is actually in the avalanche zone, when there is something to avalanche. Coffee and wine at the pensione. Then cable car back to Murren. Dinner at the Bellevue Hotel. We love this place! Buona notte (I'm practicing).
